El Zarape Mexican Restaurant: Authentic Flavors of Mexico in Las Vegas

The thing that gets you when you first walk in is the prices. Nowadays if you go out for menudo and a coffee expect over 20 bucks I honestly kind of gave up it's a bowl of soup. Not here. More importantly what gets you about this place is the flavors, you can tell a lot of love goes into their food rich deep absolutely delicious someone is taking that extra step and definitely knows what they're doing. I had menudo of course served everyday best I've had really I don't say this lightly. The broth is just amazing nice piece of pigs foot so good. The quesabirria tacos I've had in the past were bland looked good but flavorless here they pop. Can't wait to try more off the menu I might have to move here now.

The lady María was very nice and funny too! This is my second time coming here. As soon as you walk in I got a smell of home cooked food! I recommend coming here for breakfast or anytime.

Was in town for a lowrider hop event and just wanted to grab some breakfast for the team to start the day! Our first option was just crazy packed, did a Google maps search for something in the area and El Zarape came up and it was a 5 minute drive, let's do this! Nice little spot with that old school vibe, ordered like 10 breakfast burritos and the staff was kind enough to cut them in half and wrap them for us to take them to go. I was a bit hungry so I grabbed a half ham burrito and took that first bite, man.... that melted in my mouth tasti g so delicious!! 2 of my team members also decided to eat and after the first bite my boy is like "Man! This is really good!" We shared a few laughs with the staff before we headed back to our event and a few had asked where we got the burritos and how good the food was! A few Vegas locals also asked us and will said they will be stopping in to try other menu items!! I myself am looking forward to my next visit and will be recommending El Zarape to everyone!

I love!!! here i’ve been looking for a place like Los Angeles and it reminds me of it delicious Tacos. Great service. But the Chile relleno it was too tough. I couldn’t cut it. This is now my favorite spot.

This place is amazing, my coworkers and I love coming here for lunch. One of the few authentic and fairly priced restaurants in the area. I would recommend El Zarape to all my friends and family!

My new go to spot!!!! I’ve passed this restaurant for years and thought ain’t no way that this lil hidden spot is going to be good well I’m so glad I stopped by this hidden lil GEM. I got the Chilaquiles divorciados just look at the picture BTW I judge a mexican restaurant by the quality of the chilaquiles.

These were no doubt some of the best birria tacos Ive ever had. The meat quality and consommé were perfect. Not far from Allegiant stadium so a great pregame meal spot. Menu was extensive and don’t think you can go wrong with anything they serve! Staff were also amazing here and the restaurant was super clean. Will be back here next time I come to Vegas for sure!

My girlfriend and I found this spot after trying several around the area and this is hands down our favorite. Everything is made authentically from scratch and the portion sizes are great and filling. Everything is so fresh and made to order. We came back to back days! Also the prices are affordable. If anyone deserves their respect or love, it is this place. You won’t be disappointed.
